About us
Neighbours who refused to look away
Volunteers With No Limits is a self-run nonprofit in Amsterdam. We're not sponsored by government or businesses — everything we do is carried out by volunteers giving their free time.
Our story
Since February 2022
We started in February 2022, in response to the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine. In those first weeks we mobilised quickly to collect essential supplies in the Netherlands and send them to Ukraine.
For a long time we also ran a collection point and help centre in Amsterdam, where Ukrainian refugees could find free clothing, books, children's items and more. That chapter has now closed — we no longer collect or distribute clothing.
Today our volunteering space is at Circus Odesa in Amsterdam. Our focus is weaving camouflage nets, fundraising for essential supplies, and bringing Ukrainian, Dutch and international communities together.
